Ambreus: A divine ode to lambic. The name Ambreus is a tribute to the timeless magic of gueuze. Inspired by Ambrosia – the mythical nectar of the Greek gods – and Geus , the historical spelling of gueuze, we summarise our mission: a drink so special, it approaches the divine.

Three lambics, one harmony - Ambreus works with a trio of lambics , each originating from renowned brewers (Den Herberg, Lindemans and De Troch) and matured in Italian and French oak barrels. By blending 1-, 2- and 3-year-old lambics from each brewer, we create a gueuze that celebrates balance and complexity: fruity, fresh and full of depth.

From barrel to bottle: a ritual of patience. Our gueuze is not rushed. After the first maturation, we select with precision, let the blend referment in the bottle, and wait until the flavours fully develop. The result? An Oude Geuze that is as timeless as its name – ready to uncork at moments that deserve more than a regular beer.
